Disabled Veteran looking for used but good equipment. Does not have to be perfect but in decent shape. Unable to buy new due to medical bills because of injury but desperately want to get back in water.
Willing to make payments,(now please don't laugh)..Live in Southern Alabama and can come to pick up. Willing to do almost anything to get back in water, just renting gets so expensive and being a fairly large guy, hard to find good rental that fits properly.
If there are any dive buddies out there that can help or steer me in the right direction, would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and God Bless each and everyone..
IF YOU LOVE YOUR FREEDOM, THANK A VET..IF NOT, THEN GET THE HECK OUT OF MY COUNTRY

Being a disabled vet myself (lost a lung and part of my right arm), I am appalled to see someone use the "disabled vet" tag to try and get special treatment. I lived in a Volkswagen van on a beach parking lot when I got out of the Army and never asked for assistance once. And your last little quote "IF YOU LOVE YOUR FREEDOM, THANK A VET..IF NOT, THEN GET THE HECK OUT OF MY COUNTRY" is really offensive.

I served in the Army because of my own sense of duty, and certainly don't expect a pat on the back for it. Telling people to get out of the country if they don't thank you is an utterly ignorant thing to state.

Dude...you are to be commended for being able to be back on your feet after getting out of the Army, but there isn't anything wrong with asking for a little help. I was fortunate that when I retired, as a disabled vet, I had the support of my children and a very good Thai woman. If it wasn't for them I would be calling my truck home. Now that my children are all soldiers I hope they have an easier time when they come home.

Thank you both for your service and the sacrifices you made in the name of our country.
