With JetBlue entering the market with direct flights from JFK, flights are now more reasonably priced. Before JB entering the market, the only nonstop flight in the NYC area was on United out of EWR with prices regularly in the $800 to $1200 range. JB has flights in the $300 to $400 range and it looks like United has followed suit and lowered their prices to the same range. Nonstop flights from JFK to Bon are now less than flights to Curacao. JB nonstop flights from JFK are now in the $500 range. How things changed. We started diving Cur when JB eneterd the Cur market because Bon with United flights had become too expensive. A nice change and improvement for us.

Packing now for our Bon trip, any reports on current water temperatures?

but... jet blue.

What are their package allowance and restrictions with these prices?

Thanks. I will pack a shorty. It was 86 in GCM in May/June and that was a bit too warm for me.

I still pack the shorty that was 2/1 a decade or so ago... it's probably mostly placebo effect by now, but it seems to do the job in this temperature. Unfortunately I burn too easy these days and need a full sun cover -- at least until I turn a little brown-ish.

Yup I had one of those shortys. I have a nice new scuba pro front zip shorty for colder temps cooler days
