Quick question...often folks refer to the hose that connects the first stage to the second stage as the low pressure hose. While it certainly is "lower pressure" than other hoses, is it not intermediate pressure? I only ask, because I'm about to purchase a few swivels and I want to be sure about their ratings and use.

I know I'm whining, but I just wanna make sure I'm not mistaken.

thanks,

David

In fact, it is at intermediate pressure! Low pressure and intermediate pressure are interchangeable.

You've got high pressure in the tanks and SPG, intermediate pressure in the LP hoses, and ambient pressure around you and in your lungs.

Low pressure is a relative term, Intermediate pressure would be a better term. 140-150PSI is considered low pressure by some but, it you had a fire hose pointed at you at close range 140-150 PSI would not seem like low pressure.

To answer your question yes it is low pressure that connects the first and second stage.
