Here is the result of borrowing a students rig and using this rig in Belize last month:



















Fantastic, utterly amazing, spectacular HD video.



Hard to edit, but so what with the cost and ease of transport.



Logistics are easy to transport, Oring is solid and hard to screw up, works at depths of 100 feet or greater all day long.





This is a real benefit to those who don’t think they can afford to become an underwater videographer.

I was just looking at this camera as well as the Flip. Your post helped me make my choice thanks! I leave Saturday for Cozumel and I want a smaller camera. What do you think of the filter? Any tips I should know? I did not buy the external light.

Light makes all the difference and if you like to see the colors pop out, you will need to add filtering to get that video look in picture quality.

Check out my video from Belize and you can see the difference when I add the 15 watt Ikelite and red filter.





This is a spring video with no filtering but I have a 50 watt and 15 watt on this dive to bring out the freshwater Gar
