Loved it! I saw it with 580 other people. At times it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop.
At the end of the movie...Sam's daughter, is his daughter in real life.

I heard Peter Jackson is thinking about doing the Hobbit now.

Anyway, great movie..everyone should see it.
 
The 3 1/2 hours flew by and at the end I wanted more

This movie could not have been made as well five years ago, the CG is totally seamless

the movie is how you picture it when you read the book

turn off your computer and go see this movie NOW!

I did not know that. What a nice little thing to do for her. Now she can say she has a part in one of the greatest movie trilogies ever made. Even if it was a small one.
I saw it at 12:01 am with about 25 other people in our party. The rest of the theater was jam packed. They showed it on 4 seperate screens at the same time and the show was sold out! I am going to have to show it again.

Amazing!!!! I thought that a lot of the movie fit how I Imagined it when I read the book too.
I also found myself wondering what Tolkien would think if he were alive to see it.
 
Loved it. Just disappointed that the cut out the razing of the Shire.

The good news is that Peter Jackson has talked about going back and doing the Hobbit now!!!
 
Loved the movie, the best of the 3...even with the changes (from the book) it was tremendous. I want to go to New Zealand...
 
I can't wait to see it again!!! I wanted them to start it all over again!!
 
Has anyone seen these..coins from New Zealand..with the shire, the ring, and I think a hobbit, on the other side? They are 50 cent pieces. I know minted they were expensive on E bay. But I'd LOVE to just have a few floating around..hint hint New Zealand members!
