I was helping out with the repairs on the south Boyer Island mooring buoy today (someone tried to steal it). When we went to pull up the line attached to our tool bag, we found that it was no longer there. Most likely, a seal chewed through the line.
If you are there and see a yellow bag full of tools, please LEAVE IT THERE so we can get it next Sunday when we finish the job. For record, there is nothing in the bag of any value (so please don't take it) but the mooring buoy project is really hurting for funding right now so buying new tools would not be desirable.
