Hey everyone, well i've been in San Diego for a few months now but haven't had the time to go spearfishing. And not only that, but i don't really know where to go. I really haven't traveled to many places, especially the beach considering on how cold it's been, but i'm about ready to get back in and start spearin. I dove quite a bit in Hawaii, where i was stationed last, but it was easier to find a place there, i mean everyone there spearfishes. Anyways, i know i went on and on but i just want to know some good spots to go, and where it's legal. I heard of La Jolla, but not exactly where in La Jolla, I've gone for a ride there but i didn't see anyone spearfishing, i guess i was in the wrong spot. I only know where the seals are, if that says anything. Anyways, if anyone could let me in on some of the "hotspots" or just any place that's a good place to go spearfishing, that would be great. Thanks for reading and i hope to hear back from you guys.

I found a Montessori School in Spearfish.... I found some in Rapid City, but too far to drive!
Do you know near about 20 miles? Maybe a small private school? If there isn't any Montessori Schools, can anyone recommend grade schools.

Although its been a while since I dove in San Diego, you are on the right track..Lajolla, and Point Loma, is where there are some Kelp beds. Pretty much just around the bend from the mouth of the bay on the north side. Also if you can get near the break water, its a good place for lobster.

Like I said, Its been a while...If you dont have a boat I would suggest Google earth to find the road names where you can dive from the beach. There used to be a local shop San Diego Divers supply..maybe they could guide you if they still exist...

Good luck...
