Hey all, I'm visiting the South Bay and would like to get my hands on some doubles in the upcoming week to dive in Monterey. Ideally HP100s but I'm flexible. I called some local shops and they recommended I reach out here and/or on BAUE.
If anyone has some doubles they'd be willing to lend/rent, I'd really appreciate it! Or if you have ideas about how to best go about this, please let me know!
Some background on myself (would be happy to jump on a phone call to discuss further):
- I'm new to Scubaboard but have been a lurker for a while. Hi!
- Born and raised in the Bay Area and moved out to NYC 5 years ago
- Training with a tech shop based out of NYC (instructors are GUE trained but training through TDI)
- Most of my diving in NYC has been at Dutch Springs (freshwater reservoir). I did my first NY/NJ wreck dive this Nov.
- My Bay Area diving has all been Monterey and Lobos.
- Have done just over 10 dives in doubles (HP100s and HP130s).
- I dive dry with a hogarthian setup
