Hi, I'm looking for a good new or used dive housing for the Sony DCR PC 105. There were many great housings manufactured for this camera, but most are discontinued due to the age of this camera. I'm really interested in the Sea and Sea VX-PC housing for this camera, or similar item at a reasonable price.

Thanks!

This would be a steal. Maybe I should buy this, and try finding a PC101 camera... This housing unfortunately with not work with my PC105. Used DV cameras are much easier to find than used underwater housings though, so...

Thanks again.

Does it work with PC100?

Is there any particular reason that you prefer "Sea and Sea VX-PC housing"?

Thanks in advance,

I had the same problem. I found several plans and am in the process of building my own right now. It is going to cost me approx $125 to build the whole thing from scratch and that is with to control knobs that I am purchasing from Ikelite (only $7 each). Most of my cost is the shipping to get some of the items to Hawaii. On the mainland I could build it for about $65-75. Once it is built I am going to take it down to 140 for 2-3 dives (pressure cycle testing) and while down there I am going to twist, knock it around and push and pull on all parts to ensure it is solid before I put the camera in. You have to be willing to put the work in is all.
