Looking for suggestions to connect fiber optic cable to strobe and to housing

Hi Guys,
I just purchased a YS-90 and it comes with that diffuser that only goes 2/3 of the way up and doesn't have a retaining ring for the optic cable.
I also have already an optic cable, but it didn't come with a retaining ring or a connection for the housing.

I have found this

But it costs almost $50!!!

Is there a better solution?

I also don't have the velcro part that is supposed to go on the housing. Could you guys please point me to a solution?

I have the S&S 110 and use the fiber optic cable, I attached the metal plug used to hold the cable to the housing with 2 sided tape. dont use the cheap thin stuff go to home depot or lowes they have a thick 2 sided tape that holds well. Also i have it on a Canon housing so that plug doesnt sit flat make sure that the way you position that plug the cable still reads the flash

The YS-120 diffuser is different in mounting (~1/4 turn, inside the front ring), and it's larger than the YS-90, which fits over the front ring. I think you will want the "full" YS-90 diffuser anyway, so I would start there.
I don't use FO cables on my YS-90's, so I'm not familiar with the parts involved or how they go together, but maybe you could make a plastic mount and epoxy it to the diffuser?

I ended up buying the diffuser with the retaining plug.

I bought this and sanded it down a bit to be more round like the strobe. Works perfectly, even with the diffuser.
