I just moved to Saipan recently and finally finished completing my gear setup. Moved here RIGHT before my teaching job started, so haven't had much time to get wet, but i need to do that soon. So I'm looking for people who want to do some diving around here. Got my own gear, might need some tweaking setting it up but I pretty much want to dive on weekends or maybe even some after-work evening dives. I figured this would be a great place for it, should be cheap with some good shore diving spots, just need tanks. just got my license which i understand is necessary for getting local prices on tanks. Haven't met a whole lot of people yet so maybe this will be a good spot to throw it out there. I'm rescue certified and can't wait to see what the island has to offer. anyone down to show me some good spots? did some nice snorkeling so far but no diving yet and i'm itchin' to get underwater soon! Just got a car too, but opted out of the 4x4 for now untill i get some more savings. decided on something that will save on gas. but down to share expenses any time. or if there's a good cheap way to get on boats even better. Hit me up if you're interested, looking forward to exploring this place, as it was one of my main motivations for moving here! Not looking for operators so much, but buddies would be ideal.. pm me or text anytime, 285-3264-jono

Just sent you a text on your phone. I am a PADI certified instructor and I have been diving here in Saipan for the past 11 months. Don't mind taking you out for day or night dives. My schedule is that I have Tuesdays and Sundays off. Usually Sunday afternoons, I head out with people. I can introduce you to other divers as well that you can possibly buddy up with. As for the boats, I can get you on some of the boats and usually the price is anywhere from $50-60, but since I haven't done much of the boat diving here, because of the cost, I am willing to split the cost, since they allow the instructors on for free with students or customers. There are two dive boats that are big and nice and that is a boat called Sunrider and the other is owned by Y2K dive shop. As for tanks, with me I can get you tanks at a reduced cost ($3/tank) through Dive Saipan. If your looking to dive on your own with someone else, he charges I believe $5/tank. I can help you out with tweaking your gear. Look forward to hearing from you and possibly doing some diving together.

So where are you teaching at?
