Looking for Oceanic Data Plus IR Cable

I'm looking for some options to download my computer information so I started looking around for software and found Oceanic has their software available for free downloads.

Now that I have their software, I need to find an IR cable for my long obsolete Data Plus computer, which is still working wonderfully.

Anyone have any cables they aren't using or know where I can find one? Google searches aren't turning anything up except and old thread from here on Scubaboard.

Mine looks like the $18.99 model (StarTech USB2IRX USB to Infrared/IrDA SIR/FIR Adapter). A generic driver has worked with everything I've tried to link to. Just plug it into your computer and let the two figure things out...

Thanks, Lowviz. The one I found on newegg earlier today didn't look like a match based on the technical specs. It was also more expensive.

Not to mention, Liquivision actually offering help. +1guys/gals it didn't go un-noticed. Manufacturers talking directly to their customers, what a concept...

I'm jealous beyond words. My DC manufacturer (SP) wouldn't talk to me if I was on fire on their front steps.

Yeah I actually like the functionality of the Data Plus quite a bit and now I'm going to get the Veo180 from the classifieds so I'll have two Oceanic computers. They've definitely been very helpful, customer service wise, so I'm fairly happy. Even though I'm buying used computers they've been very good at answering questions when I've had them. That definitely had an impact on me buying another Oceanic computer and will have impact on me in the future too.
