In all seriousness though, there are charter boats out of Jeddah that you could probably hire. That part of the Red Sea is mostly untouched as the Kingdom has only recently allowed tourism. Jeddah is a beautiful and lively city. If you go, you absolutely have to go to AL Baik for the chicken.

Just stay away from Chop Chop Square.
Thanks, that is a great idea, a week was too short and two back to back trips too long. I WILL check out a charter boat out of Jeddah.
Thanks!
Yea Chop Chop Square does not sound good.

For as nice as that boat looks I'm really surprised at how cheap it is. It's not that much more than Blue O Two and still cheaper than Aggressor.
Seems like a bargain compared to my single LOB data point. In early December I spent a week on the Galapagos Aggressor III. Base price plus fuel surcharge pushed it to about $7.2K. Then add in the travel, tips, nitrox, yadda, yadda yadda...ouch! I would imagine a major cost driver is operating 700+ miles from a mainland port.

(But it was worth every penny! Bucket list trip).

We're doing the new Red Sea Aggressor IV in July if that's of interest? New boat, looks lovely!

I have not been on this boat but it looks really nice (swim up pool bar) All Star Red Sea Vessel Features, Photos + Deck Plans

This is the (new) Scuba Scene. The boat is in the water, but is still being finished out. Most of the pictures there are design concepts that will hopefully stay close to true. Home - Scuba Scene Liveaboard

I am booked on this boat in October. Can't wait!

(As a reminder, the previous Scuba Scene caught fire and burned in April 2022.)
