Hey all,

I will be traveling in New Zealand from January 12th through March 22nd and am looking to fill my trip with as much diving as possible. Specifically, I will be in Dunedin from January 12th through February 9th and in Auckland for the remainder of the trip.

I already have almost every weekend in Auckland booked for dives with the Auckland University Dive Club and don't need too much help getting in dives on the North island. However, I have had a much harder time getting in contact with divers on the South island. I am doing a couple dives with Dive Otago but aside from that my Dunedin schedule is barren.

Basically, I am looking for some willing divers to show me a favorite site of theirs once or twice while I am there. I am not traveling with another diver and have never been to New Zealand before, so am looking to form as many contacts before my departure.

I have only been diving about a month, but I have taken my Open Water and Advanced Open Water in that time. At this point in time, I have logged 15 dives in 48 degree F water and consider myself relatively skilled for a beginner (good buoyancy, trim, air usage, experience with surge and current). Most of my dives since AOW have been past 60 feet and 2 have been down to 100 ft.

Thanks for any help you can offer!
