I am trying to arrange dives for an avid sports diver on Santa Cruz, San Cristobal, and Isabella who has four free days whilst participating in a volunteer program for three weeks that allows him four days worth of diving. One on Santa Cruz, one on San Cristobal, and two on Isabella. The program already arranges for tours on the islands but diving is optional and I want to keep in the theme of his arrangements and find him above average sites worth visiting.

My question comes from trying to arrange for dives on each island. I have done an extensive bit of research and have come up with some great sites for day and night dives on Santa Cruz and San Cristobal..

What I need to find more information about is the sites on Isabella. I know that there are a few good sites but the information is unclear as to what sites are currently open to divers.

As I am meeting in the next few days with a trusted friend of a divemaster I know there, I want to be informed as to what options are available there..

Does anyone have any current information that I can use that would be of use to an accomplished diver. If you do I would appreciate it you got in touch with me through private message or responding to this post- He is coming in a month and I´m trying to make the arrangements this week after I tend bar on Paddy´s Day.. It´s a big one so if I can get it organized before Wednesday that I have the info I would be doing well!

Thanks and I appreciate the help!

All the water is warm right now, so sharks are deeper. A friend on Isabela told me yesterday the water is 29C out there right now. On Isabela, Isla Tortuga can be good at the tip with current. I like 4 Hermanos and La Viuda. Almost better than diving on Isabela is going to Los Tuneles. I always see and snorkel with mantas just before the entrance to Los Tuneles. Inside: Eagle Rays, White-tipped reef sharks, loads of turtles, marine iguanas, sea lions, penguins and more.

The above are pretty much the only sites accessible from land. You can only dive Cape Marshall, Roca Redonda, Punta San Vicente Roca, etc from a live-aboard.

My site (below) offers more information on Isabela dive sites. I'm going to check out a site this weekend that no one dives anymore that is close to Isabela. Will let you know if it's worth reporting.

Floreana is good diving..Enderby and Champion. Obviously Gordon Rocks, N. Seymour / Mosqueras, Cousins and lately, I hear the hammerheads have been abundant near Bartolome.
Warm water is changing things at the moment, so even yesterday's reports might mean nothing tomorrow.
