I am looking to go the the Lembah area for a live a board for 9-14 day. I am intrested in macro life.... If there are any discount offerings please contact me!

Thx!!

I don't think you need a liveaboard in Lembeh. All the dives are close to the resorts. I tacked on a 4- or 5-day stay at the Lembeh Resort to a 10-day Komodo liveaboard. You may want to re-think the 14 days too. A week is the most I'd spend there, especially with all the other great diving in the neighborhood. If you want to maximize your photo opportunities, you may want to consider hiring your own boat and divemaster so you don't have to share with the other photographers.

Hi Stellatus,

When do you plan to go there? My company helps people to travel & dive all around Indonesia.

All the Liveaboards who dives in Lembeh mostly not only do dive in Lembeh area but also the surrounding area such as Bunaken, Bunaken, Sangihe Talaud. If you only want to dive in Lembeh, you can actually stay in dive resorts.

Recently there are many new dive resorts there to suit every budget.

If you would like to go to Lembeh, I would suggest you to fly there from your country to Manado - the nearest International Airport that just located about 2 hours by car from Lembeh, to save spending money for domestic airline tickets. Because if you enter Indonesia through other big cities such as Jakarta or Denpasar, you will still need to fly to Manado - North Sulawesi from those cities.

Let me know by message, if you would like me to further assist you.

Cheers,

Hi Stellatus, good advice from Vladimir and Tapas but let us know when you want to dive the Lembeh area. As suggested, many excellent land operations in Lembeh Straits at all levels of budget - some better than others. If you are into muck and macros, then there are few places in the world that rival it - so spending a week or a month would not be stretching it. If you are firm on a liveaboard, there are few that stay the whole time in the straits, so if macro is your choice, then land resort is best. Let us know when you plan to tarvel and we can give you some ideas of availability. cheers
