Hello all, I really need your help I have had this 5060 for about for about three years and I get great pics. You can take a look at them if you want, But I believe they could be better with a flash especially on the wide angle shots that Iwould like to have more of. So, I am asking for anybodies advice on a great flash?

start by finding out what limitations there are with the electronics in the camera & housing talking to the flash electronics (eg Ike will only do TTL with Ike)

read all you can about sync cables & the other method whose name i can never remember where you put a light sensor near your internal flash & that triggers the strobe. decide which route you want to take, there are pros & cons to both.

if you are using the Oly housing check that you have covered anywhere your internal flash can escape onto your photograph creating a hot spot, I ruined some perfect shots that way.

then you have the joy of choosing the strobe(s) - good luck

Which housing are you using?

If it's an Ikelite then maybe go for one of the Ike strobes whic will enable you to use their TTL.

If it's an Oly, then consider an Inon Z240 which you can fire with fibre optic cables..
I used 2 Sea & Sea YS 90 Auto strobes for around four years with mine.
