Looking for dive trip to Bonaire in April or May 2013

Hello,

I am new to Scubaboard and getting ready for my first dive in a few years. I am in the Pacific NW and am very accustomed to cold water diving, however I am looking to go to Bonaire for a week in April or May of 2013, mainly because everything I read says Bonaire is the greatest shore dive spot. I would like to ease back via shore-diving, and also enjoy some vacation there in the warm water and sun. :cool2: I have not been on any warm water dives yet, except for Homestead Crater, Utah.

Problem is I will be travelling alone and do not have a local club that is going to Bonaire during that time period. So I am really hoping to hook up with an American club that is going there to shore dive during that period, so I have a dive buddy.

Anybody have any suggestions?

There is at least one thread about singles traveling to Bonaire and recommendations for finding buddies. I have heard that Buddy Dive has an area to post looking for buddies.

If all else fails, a nearby dive shop here in NC has a trip planned for April.
