I'm still trying to find out where to go diving when I get to Manchester this coming September. My problem is that I don't know where the dive sites are that I find on the internet. (I"m from California, USA.) So, can anyone recommend a good dive guide for the U.K.?

Cheers,
Tony

on dive sites of the US - there is no one book!

A good starting point would be the Diver Magazine web site.

There is also a series of books by the publisher Underwater World Publications that do a lot of books like "Dive Dorset" - I am not sure where I would want to go diving from Manchester as I am not from that part of the country. I would imagine North Wales or head to the East Coast but I am sure there must be something on the NW coast near the Wirrel or Chester.

Hopefully one of the locals can chime in when the get up - it is 01:30.....

Good luck and enjoy your trip

Jonathan
