My sister ,wife and I will be arriving on Bonaire on the 18th of April and will be spending the week at harbor village. My travel buddies are not certified and will only do an occasional snorkel with me.I need someone to team up with for some occasional casual shore dives around the island.
I am in my early forties and not looking to dive all hours day and night, been there done that.Just a few choice locations we can discuss and agree upon.I'm a proficient diver who has been diving for many years in all types of environments.Male/female/experience is not much of an issue,I can have a lot of patience for newer divers,I prefer to go slow and see the small stuff.
If you are going to be on the island at that time and would like,or not mind a new dive buddy let me know and we can make some arrangements.:)

What's the difference between a casual buddy and an intense one?

One of them demands a "proper relationship" before you get to do anything fun?

That could be it...but I was thinking more along the lines of "excitability" and "extremeness".

You know...a casual buddy might enter the water from shore and work his way to depth over a period of say, 20 minutes.

An extreme diver might pop his reg in his mouth, grab the mask and jump out of a helicopter 50 feet over the dive site.
