I just recently put a new system together and now I'm starting to plan my spring and summer dive travel so I'm looking for recommendations on carrying cases/backpacks for carry-on to fit a T2i, Sea&Sea housing and ports, 60mm & 10-17mm lenses, (2) Inon S2000 strobes, Ultralight arms & other camera accesories.

I'd also like to carry a 14" laptop as well but that's not a deal-breaker

Any help would be gratly appreciated

I shoot professionally, and honestly I gave up on trying to carry on equipment a long time ago.. Just put your camera in a lowe pro pack, then the rest of gear in a pelican 6200 and check it as baggage. Get the DAN equipment insurance or talk to your renters / home insurance provider for a "rider" to cover your gear... Forget about the TSA locks, they just get trashed, put zip ties on the case to button it up.

I don't know if any of these will work, but I use one for travel. I fit my Canon Dslr, an extra lense, nikon coolpix with ikelite housing in the lower compartment, base and strobe in the upper compartment. There is also a compartment which should house a thin laptop.

I use the Tenba medium Shootout backpack. I fit my T2i, Nauticam housing, 10-17mm, Zen mini dome, 60mm, flat port, 2 Inon z240s, Sola 1200, couple other lens, laptop and some misc stuff. With all that stuffed in it's technically over the size limit for carryon but so far I've always been allowed on and it does fit (barely) in the overhead compartment.

Tamrack Expedition 8. It takes my Olympus 620, Ikelite housing, 2 lenses, 2 strobes, all the wires and chargers, my IPad, Go Pro, etc... Listen to the pro photog. though. It weighs about 20 lbs when done and the TSA has a field day with it every time it goes through the scanners.

Take a look at the Crumpler web site. They have some very well made and stylish backpacks. A little on the pricey side, but I think worth the price. My wife and I have four or five of their bags/backpacks and the ones we take depends on the kind of trip we are going on.

Are you sure you have this case number right.. I am looking for a case myself and searched for the Pelican 6200 and can't find one with that number.
