Looking for a intro to scuba (resort course) near Fort Lauderdale

I will be vacationing with my two nieces (18 and 14) in Weston Florida (near Ft. Lauderdale) June 14-22 and I want them to experience Scuba Diving.
They are excellent swimmers and I think they would be hooked.
Is there a one day intro (We use to have a free intro to Scuba at my Scuba Club at home), maybe pool or shallow reef to give them a lifetime memory and maybe a love for Scuba. I do not want a full course or something that would take the whole week. I am also treating them so I don't want to spend a fortune and I don't know if they will like it yet. I just want to get them hooked. I can also travel down to the Upper Keys for a one day course if necessary. Please help . Thanks, Richard

Underwater Explorers

Kevin Metz (Underwater Explorers) comes very highly recommended. You would have to see if he does DSD's but from every account I have read, he would be my first and only choice if he offered the course.

In Fort lauderdale by the sea you have Gold Coast Scuba - Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Florida they are PADI and do shore dives ask for steve or brian they are a friendly small buisness so you will get loads of attention if you need any more info give me a PM.
