Ok so I'm fairly new to diving, but I am ready to get an UW camera. I will be using mine for mainly ghost towns that have been submerged over the last century. I have been looking at the DC 1400, but will need a wide angle lens. Has anyone had a chance to use this yet, I realize it is not available until sep, but maybe someone has tested it? I will also be taking videos of the areas I dive. A final point is that the areas are likely to be fairly silty, I'm hoping to dive colder to reduce this, but I shall have to see. How bad is the silt going to throw me off? What can I do to reduce this reaction? Any feedback would be great!

FYI... I bough the DC1200 from LeisurePro.

They sent me the 1400. Searching here on ScubaBoard, they were not the only shop to ship the 1400 when ordering the 1200.

Might want to order that and see if they ship you the 1400.

Saved me over $120.00!
