looking 4 camera

Hey everyone I am looking for a camera. I am new to underwater photography and would like some input as to what type I should get. I basicly want a nice point and shoot digital camera. Ive been looking at the canon powershots although I just dont know. Any info would be a great help. thanks:huh:

I like the Canon A series.

Budget, interest in evolving with photography, how often you dive, if you'll use it on land etc will all help us try and offer better advice.
