Greetings.

I know the odds are against this, but I am in possession of an Escort Genesis AI computer, which is missing the stainless steel battery housing. This is on the computer itself. Does anyone have one of these old dinosaurs sitting around in their 'spare parts' box?

Along the same lines, I've contacted Oceanic, the OEM of the Genesis, to see if they may have old parts, or if any of their other computers share the same dimensions of this battery housing.

I know it's unlikely, but it's worth a shot.

Thanks.

I don't have a spare parts genesis, but do have two fully working computers with transmitters and even have a working download interface and computer that I will be selling.
Not what you were looking for, but had to jump in just in case you really wanted a genesis escort.

Thanks to both of you for the replies.

I actually have another, much newer AI computer that I use for diving, so I'm not in dire need of a second. I was just hoping to find the battery cover so that my Genesis wrist unit is not completely useless. If I had the cover, I could at least hope to sell it for $50 or so.

At least I do have the working transmitter. Offhand, does anyone know if I could use this with other computers, or would it only work with Oceanic products?

Edit - NCadiver, wow! Thank you for that link. I thing that the part I need is sitting right there. Cheers!
