I'm going to be in Vienna for work in July, and it occurred to me that this puts me mere hours away from the Kőbánya Cellars. I now have my heart set on taking a long weekend trip there for my 31st birthday. I'm probably going to go with the Molnar Janos Dive Center, but I'm open to other operators with good English or good German.

Having never been to Hungary yet, I'm working out the logistics and appreciate input:

EQUIPMENT
Because I'm going to be traveling for work for 5-6 weeks, I can bring some of my dive gear but can't afford the space for my full kit. I was planning to bring my regs + deco reg with Imperial SPG, my backplate with pre-adjusted harness, lights, and reels. The dive op will rent me tanks, wing, and weights.

Can anyone recommend a shop for me to rent a drysuit and anything else that might not fit in the suitcase?

BUDDIES/PHOTOGRAPHY

If anyone lives in the region and wants to dive Kobanya, I would be delighted to have company on my dive(s).

I also suffer from a serious lack of awesome pictures of me diving. If you want to come diving and you're a good underwater photographer, I will happily pay for at least one dive for you to shoot me. :)

LODGING

Any recommendations for hotels or hostels that are diver-friendly? Budget not a major concern, but would prefer to keep it under €100/night.

TRANSIT
Is it fairly easy to get around public transit with a suitcase or gear bag? If not, are there good taxi/rideshare service options?
