Login when picking Latest Threads

I've found when I select a thread from the "Latest Thread" area, it doesn't recognize I'm already logged in...I can go to Forums in the Navigation bar, go anywhere (that I've tried anyway) on the site, and it recognizes that I'm logged in just fine...but when I pick a thread from the Latest Thread area of the home page, it pops the "Welcome to ScubaBoard" header and doesn't recognize I'm logged in already...

Howcome???

Thanks...wasn't sure where to look for the "to do list" to check if it was already reported...
