Hi Im new. Names Rez.
I had a question about how to log multiple dives. The first dive is ok but its the second i had the question about. When you add in the residual nitrogen to your dive time and you get the total nitrogen time, do you add that to your cumulative dive time or just your total bottom time?

Example: Rnt: 12 + Adt: 20 = TNT: 32

do you add 32 to your cumulative dive time or do you add 20 to your cumulative dive time?

Thanks,
Rez

If you're tracking your total cumulative dive times (which is not used to calculate your nitrogen loading), then just add your actual bottom time. The total cumulative bottom time should have nothing to do with your table calculations. Your actual bottom time of 20 in your example would be added to your cumulative total. The 32 is used to calculate your ending pressure group on that repetitive dive.

If I'm reading right, you just log the 20 minutes. What you are logging is your actual dive time.

Yur rnt has no bearing on your cumulative dive time. It is used only for calculations for your next dive(s). Cumulative dive time for log purposes is your actual time for the dive.

Thanks,

I got alittle confused. I understand it now.

Thank you.
