As far as I'm aware, the only Bahamas liveaboard at the $1000 budget level would be Blackbeard's.

If you can expand you budget, Explorer Adventures is offering $300 off per diver ($1695) on their week-long Saba/St. Kitts trip which departs from St. Marten or St. Kitts which are accessible from Miami. It's a great boat and trip and excellent diving.

JULY 2015

There are multiple liveaboards in Key West and the Florida Keys.
R/V Kate (www.blueiguanacharters.co
M/V Playmate (Custom Charter Company Lower Florida Keys - SeaClusive)
S/V Conch Pearl (Private Scuba and Sailing Charters : Private SCUBA Charters)
S/V Juliet (Liveaboard Diving Vacations - Juliet Sailing and Diving)
Ultimate Getaway (Dry Tortugas Scuba Diving liveaboard, The Ultimate Getaway. Scuba Dive the Dry Tortugas out of Ft. Myers Florida.)
Shear Water (www.scubaadventures.com)
M/V Spree (www.spreeexpeditions.com) (July is wrecks only, recreational divers welcome on the keys trips, nothing in Tortugas)

And ScubaBoard is hosting a Florida Keys Wreck Trek July 26-31, but that is a limited load trip and out of your stated price range.

I don't understand what you mean by safari diving? We have dived a number of liveaboard trips and they were all for one week. The only liveaboard trip we have done in your price range is Blackbeards. We had fun but there wasn't much privacy or comfort, if those things are important to you. Here's a thread about Blackbeards:

San Diego diving is very different from Florida and the Caribbean, you might try posting your question on the Southern California board to try and get some suggestions:

One time we did a liveaboard trip south of San Diego, in the Sea of Cortez out of Cabo San Lucas in Mexico. It was a great trip but it was a lot more expensive than your budget.

Trouble with US boats is we pay our crews a wage they can live on. My crew wages are over $800 per day. The Red Sea and Maldives Safari boats you are used to pay their crews a fraction of that. Additionally, Egypt has the second least expensive fuel in the world, after Venezuela. You won't find any US boats for pricing anything like the Red Sea boats.

thanks for your answere. maldives we have 7 days for 1100$.

egypt we cant go.. becouse of the dangeros situation there fo us.
is there 100-1500$?
are there last minuit prices as in the galapagos?

what liveabroad are in toronto? or bc?

thanks

Sadly, the North American model is not the same as the Caribbean or the rest of the world. The North American model is a quick getaway for a long weekend for a thousand bucks. We have maybe 25 US based liveaboards and we all operate on basically the same model. Sadly, the last Canadian liveaboard closed shop last year, the Nautilus Swell. They had been successful because the were able to stay in the inland passage and dive protected from the weather, but the water temperatures were 5-10 degrees C year round. Not exactly warm water safari diving.

The only thing you will find in North America that fits your budget has already been mentioned, BlackBeards Cruises out of Nassau. The safari type experience you are looking for just doesn't exist here.

I still don't understand the concept of "Safari Diving" could someone explain?
