Does anybody have recommendations on a liveaboard for Raja Ampat? I wanted to go this year, but after searching I have some liveaboards do not have more vacancy or dont go to Raja Ampat.

I was planning on going anytime after September after the rainy season. I will be flying from New York and most likely will be spending about 3 weeks in the area. SE Asia. I realized now that I should have booked this liveaboard long ago...

When is the best time of the year to go?
What dive operators/liveaboard do you recommend?
What's the best way to get? route, airports, etc (After Indonesia, I have to go to Hong Kong) I was thinking about betting the Cathay Pacific Asia Pass.??

Thanks

I just got back from a great trip with Kararu. The diving, boat and service were fantastic. We flew from Newark to Singapore to Bali on Singapore Air. Great airline and great service.

I just finished my dive video if you would like to see what the diving is like.

ron - your videos are amazing!!!!! I can't wait to read your trip report!!! hint hint :D

Thanks Robin,

I generally don't do trip reports, but I'm more than happy to answer any questions people might have.

In summary, it was a great trip. Visability and current were difficult at times, especially for video. I made my video in chronological order and it portrays the diving experience pretty well. Much better than I would be able to put into words.
