The biggest hog is our own database which is being hammered @ 250 times/second. It's been cached, memchached, trimmed, massaged, trimmed some more, recached, rehashed and fed plenty of cash. That's just a lot of queries for any db to handle consistently. Everything else is just peanuts by comparison, especially skimlinks.
