Scubaroo,
Ditto on the photo. I've read the description on the OxyCheq website, but I'm not getting a good mental picture. I'm a little concerned regarding the fact that it needs to be ziptied to the BP...Do you think it will work with the Venture Wing that has only one set of grommeted holes?

I've gotten my hands on the lightest and lowest profile STA! I've stopped by the DSS factory and picked the "cradle" (single tank stabilizer) on Friday.

The "cradle" is not a true DSS accessory, but rather a part that is included on the DSS LCD30 wing. But, Tobin (coolhardware_52) was kind enough to give me this part to use with my rig. I punched a hole through the cradle, and secured it directly to the BP channel (under the wing) with a flathead screw + wingnut, sandwiched between 2 washers (please see picture).

I got a chance to do a few dives with the updated configuration over the weekend. The "cradle" creates a stable attachment point for the tank, and virtually eliminates the side to side slipping of the tank. I also really like the fact that it's such a small and discrete part.
