I've got a Sola 1200 S/F. In an attempt to replace the batteries, I fried the motherboard. All it took was a touch in the wrong place. They don't sell parts. Had to send it in to L&M. They replaced the motherboard and battery for $150, their stock fee for doing almost anything.
It's basically new inside, motherboard + battery + new O-ring. I have a non-L&M Goodman-style (back of hand) adjustable holder, along with a screw-in ball mount for a camera setup, charger, and zippered pouch.
The holder broke. I fixed it with JB Weld and carbon fiber. Tougher than new now. Worked fine the couple times I tried it. Been in the water ~ 3x since the overhaul. $200?
What kind of cost/hassle issues are there shipping to Canada from the US?
