I recently purchased a new Light Monkey 32W VF LED head. I've found the variable focus knob is extremely difficult to turn. To the point where I needed to use a set of pliers on it the first time I tried to turn the knob. I'm not the strongest person alive, but I'm 6'3 270lbs and used to dive double steel 120s so I'm not the weakest person either.
I'm just curious of other people's experiences with the VF knob action. I'll reach out to Light Monkey as well but wanted to know if this is a common issue.
