I have an AKISONG dive light with the following features:
Tail mounted on/off pressure switch.
Powered by two 26650 5000mAh batteries
5 modes- high, medium, low, strobe and SOS

Locally here in Bahrain most of the dives have an 18 meter or less depth. We just did a external wreck dive to 28 meters. My light wouldn't turn on at that depth. On the second dive I turned it on its low setting on the surface and it stayed on to 20 meters then shut off. I had a similar issue a few months ago in the Maldives on dives at 20 meters or more.

I realize there probably isn't much that can be done to fix this issue. Any recommendations on a replacement with similar options? Or a recommended fix fir it?

IMHO - tail mounted pressure switches are not for underwater lights due to water pressure depress rubber cap and pushes button under cap. Try to find light with magnetic switch.
