Lens Help

I'm going to purchase a telephoto lens for topside use, here are the links to, three I'm looking at for my Olympus C4000Z. I'm wanting one that will zoom in closest.

Let me know how you like it. I have a C5050 and the only thing I don't like about it is it's zoom. I was use to a 300mm on my 35mm and the 100mm on the 5050 is not enough to suit me.

Like you said the 3x will obviously give you more magnification. The disconcerting thing about the lens are the words 'VHS compact video lens' on the packaging. Maybe do a search on the web to see if anyone is using it with a Cxxxx digicam with success.

The Oly ofcourse is the safe bet but it'll only offer 1.7x magnification.

Thanks, I've had someone reply from Digital Diver who says they have the CLA-1 and a 2x Tele lens (Vision Optics Titanium 2.0x Digital Tele Lens), and have been pleased with the results. I've asked them to forward pics using the lens before I decide. I'd rather be safe with the Olympus Tele, than sorry with something else.
