what wide angle lens can I use for my canon A95 WP-DC50 underwater housing? Also, I read in other forums (not in SB) that a slave strobe (without a fiber optic link) would only fire if your digicam's internal flash fires at the same time, wouldn't this create backscatter? What's the perfect strobe for my digicam? Perfect would be compatible and not too costly. Appreciate anybody's input.

Inon and Inon.

You can check out their web site or contact Yuzo in Japan info@naturephoto.co.jp - he's great!

You can also do a little searching here in the Canon forum as there have been several discussions of lenses and strobes for the A series recently. LukeRob was using this system, too.

Yeah Inon make some pretty cool stuff, the fiber optics cable is the way to go, you
just cover the camera flash with (what looks to me like a bit of negative film). This
stops the cameras inbuilt flash putting out enough light to cause backscatter but
enough light to trigger the slave. I use both an A/80 and A/95 with Inon macro lens
and an Inon fisheye which is extremely wide angle. Also their 180 strobe.
