Hi, All,

I recently bought an attachment len that would be mounted onto my underwater camera housing. The question is can I attach and detach the len underwater?

Also, is there any special care I need to take for the len?

Thanks in advance. :)

What housing? What lens?

Most lens adapters that attach to the housing are "wet mates" that can be removed/replaced underwater.

Special care: Don't scratch the coatings, soak the lens and always dry it carefully before storage.

Jlyle,

It is a Canon WP-DC20 housing for S1 IS with Inon UCL-165M67 macro len.

Thank you.
