Hi All, I haven't posted in this section much but here is a video from Lembeh that i made... The caveat here is I do own my own boats so I can go off exploring :) All shots made within 1 mile of Lembeh Island.

Great!
I'm intrigued by the "5K" label in bottom left corner - can you tell us what you're shooting with please? I wish I could keep my cam. that steady.
Thanks a lost for posting.
Cheers,
Matt

This from the credits if you watch it in Vimeo... Nice bit of gear!

A brief selection of clips shot over a few dives in the last 6 months. Shot on Red Epic in Nauticam housing, using rEvo rebreather and for some of the pans a scooter as well.
Lighting was Fisheye Aquavolt 7000 for the wide with some of the new 2000's in the macro. Some of the older shots using LMI Sola's.
Diving of course with NAD-Lembeh.

Gorgeous video btw... I watched in on a 52" TV... really beautiful work. I especially liked the macro stuff...

I was at NAD when you arrived with the new camera and housing. Glad you are getting to use it and some of those shots are fantastic. The detail you get with the RED is amazing, at about 5.13 the shot of the soft coral cowrie is great but if you look close you can even see a shrimp on him. It must be the miniscule! Amazing footage.

Since I could not get in the water when I was staying with you due to a busted ear and instead spent a week watching the rest of my group go diving while sitting on the dock I really do need to come back! Keep posting more footage, it's great to see.

Busted ear? How'd you manage that?

Did it the week before on a liveaboard in Komodo, one of the other guests arrived with the cold from hell, gave it to me (very generously!) and I keep diving. In the end on the second last day I got to about 15 meters could not go down any further then could not come up either! Ended up with severe barotrauma, then had to fly to Lembeh which was agony then spent the week there sitting on the dock taking antibiotics, steroids, antihistamines and anything else the specialist told me to take just to be able to get back on a plane. Six months later the ringing in my ears has finally stopped!! Hint....don't dive with a cold! By the way, NAD were great, they organized for me to go and see a specialist, offered me land trips etc etc

Wow. I'd heard of the ear getting clogged up on an ascent, bad stuff. I always carry a supply of decongestants though only for minor stuff, not a cold from hell. Man sorry to hear all that happened to you.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I'll post another one from Raja Ampat shortly, and now i'm working on the next Lembeh video. Some new footage mixed into a different storyline.

BaitBall, I remember your story :) A short while after I got the camera back, my little one got nailed by a box jellyfish so I lost a few months diving. I'm a useless critter spotter so I have to rely on my guides, we were busy last year so I didn't get a guide for most of the time. This year I have a manager and a bigger diveteam so hoping to get more water time and more footage :)
