Left post 1st stage & wing elbow clearance

So I seem to have issue with left post 1st stage interfere with wing elbow.

Double tank is pst double lp80, 7.25 inches diameter. Think X7-100 size. 1st stage is scubapro mk22. Wing is H Evolve40.

In order to have left 1st stage clear wing elbow, the 1st need to be less than 45 degree (toward vertical direction). This makes the 22 inches hose bend quite a bit, thus not quit long enough. So here are my questions:

1. Is this normal? Or am I the only one with this issue?
2. 1st stage not clearing wing elbow, is this ok?
3. If it is not normal, what can I do?

I will post pictures later. Thanks!

This seems a very common setup amount

First picture, see how the 1st stage on the right hand side (left post) is right behind the inflator elbow. The orientation of this 1st stage is about 30 degree from horizontal. If I fully inflate the wing, the elbow is pushing aginst the 1st stage

2nd picture and 3rd pictures. If I turn the 1st stage toward vertical postion, it will clear the elbow, but the 22 inches backup LP hose is taking a tight bend.

This from the front view.

View from the back side. 1 stage is quite vertical here. It is just parrellel to the elbow. The backup LP hose come down and bend to the right side. The bend is quite tight, and also because the band, 22 isn't quite long enough.

So what is my problem here?

Yeah, looks fine to me. I use Mk17s, and I would argue that they have nicer routing than the vaunted Mk25s, but that looks OK to me.

I used to use a 22" backup hose on singles and 24" for doubles, but it was too short. Now, I use 24" for singles and 26" for doubles, and it places the reg right under my chin with no extra-big loop. Before, the reg was resting almost on my right collarbone and, like Derek Zoolander, I had issues turning left. Not anymore. I also use Miflex for the inflator and backup reg hoses, but traditional rubber for the 7' hose and HP hose. Makes it more flexy and I can place it where I need it.

Yes -- it seems as though the solution is easy. Run the regulator so that it doesn't interfere, and put a slightly longer hose on the backup reg. The bend you're ending up with isn't any more than the bend folks have to use with regulators that don't have that bottom LP port.
