I just don't log dives
Hello divers,

I will be leaving next Saturday with my local scuba club to Playa Del Carmen. We will be diving with Yuca-tek Divers and staying at the Paraiso Azul’s Casa de Gopala hotel. Our group has a total of fourteen divers, and we plan to do two reef dives on Sunday, followed by two Cenote dives the following two days. Wednesday/Thursday I would like to take the ferry over to Cozumel to do some more diving.

Please help me make this trip and adventure to remember.
Are there any tips or recommendations you can give (places to visit, packing etc)? I am anxiously waiting to get this vacation started!

Thank you.

Not sure where to start. You LDS has planned a trip to PDC with only three days of diving? That seems odd.

What advice are you looking for? Coz ops, restaurants, PDC adventures, more PDC diving???

Check out www.playa.info for up to date happenings.

Thank you PH,

We will be diving more than three days of course, however wed paid up front for three days of diving, and the rest of the days we will optional last minute activities, like night dives, and visiting Cozumel. Not everyone in the group will be hardcore divers, so those individuals will love the local beach, pools, and talking to locals by mid-week. With the free days that I do have available, including the night life, I would like to get some tips on what to do, and what I should not miss doing.

Thank for the link PH!:D

Have a great time! Please let us know how it went. We are staying a week in Cozumel, Mar 7-13 and Playa del Carmen on Mar 13-20-2015. I'm thinking of using Dive-Pro since they do round trip pick up from the Mayan for $12 per diver. Also, they have a boat at the Allegro Cozumel. I hope get at least 20+dives and hopefully the weather is in our favor to dive the wreck in PDC and Cozumel.

That sounds like you have a beautiful trip you have planned out. Which wreck are you referring to in PDC?

I'm so anxious now... Four days away!

I will be sure to update you all.

Playa Del Carmen :Mama Vina is a former shrimp boat sunk in 1995, max depth 90ft
Cozumel: C-53 Felip Xicontenantl, Mexican Navy minesweeper sunk 2000 max depth 80 ft and sits on the sand bottom in Chankanaab Bay. The sides have been opened up to allow divers to enter and exit safely.
This will be my first diving in PDC and Cozumel.
Have a great time!

Thank you for the feedback. This will only make my experience that much better.
