I'm a (virtual) non-swimmer with negative buoyancy and a life long fear of water, so what am I doing on a dive forum?

Easy.

I decided to learn to dive and meet my fears head on. To catalog this monumental (in my eyes) achievement (okay, maybe not by others standards!) I'm currently writing a blog of my experiences that can be found here:

learning to dive

If anyone out there is thinking of learning to dive and doesn't believe they can, or if you are a teacher with a nervous dive student coming up and maybe are interested in how I have managed (so far) to learn and experience the wonderful sport of scuba diving (without too much fear along the way), then by all means feel free to give this a read.

If it can help someone, then great!

you all take care out there!
