I saw a cool & easy trick yesterday to have better stabilization of the unit on the stand. Don't get me wrong. The stand is nice,... just not always as stable as I would like. A buddy of mine simply used a 4 lb soft bag weight under the bottom of the stand. It acted as a pillow to lift the back of the unit a little & helped to cradle it on the side some for stabilization. The unit sat very solid & was even moved around & gave no inclination to fall over.

Hi,
Do you have factory Hollis Prism 2 stand. I have one and it's been cut down to reduce weight from the bottom. I find the weight on the bottom is not the best place for the HP2. Rather the have all weight in the custom made weight pocket made by Matt Addison and by adding 2 pounds of lead on the of each tank using a cam band strap.

Best regards,
Chett

When did a "factory Hollis Prism 2 stand" appear? Links please?

As far as I can recall I haven't heard a word from Hollis about new products, software updates, or anything else since I bought my Prism 2, a little over three years ago.
