Grin grin, my TLS 350 is in the mail. My concern is, should I worry about abrasion of non-vinyl-coated lead weights against the suit, or is it just fine?

I've had my TLS-350 for eight long hard years of use and the material is tough stuff! Don't worry about abrasion from lead weights except you may see some discoloration. My wife prefers her web belt that has pockets into which you can slide your weights rather than a traditional weight belt. I use the traditional belt & vinyl coated weights.

Enjoy your new suit. Being cold is highly over-rated.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the non-coated lead would actually be less abrasive. Lead is pretty slick, and the coatings aren't. And since lead is pretty soft, you would probably get lead rubbed off on your suit over time.
