Currently have 4 (four) Navy Work Boats LCM-6 located in the port of Sasebo, Japan. The boats have been well maintained by the US Navy and are in good working condition. They are still in use by the US Navy. They are powered by newer Twin Detroit Diesel Engines and have fendering installed for pushing larger vessels or barges. Should anyone be interested, these boats are for sale at a good price.

Vessel #1: 56’x14’ Navy Work Boat, Navy Hull Registry Number C51828

Vessel #2: 56’x14’ Navy Work Boat, Navy Hull Registry Number C30000

That would make an awesome houseboat! If you can deliver one to the eastern seaboard, I'll take one!

wonder how I would get it to China
FYI: In 1967 I coxswained an LCM6 out.of Chu Lai, Vietnam.
I could transport three Jeeps at a time across the harbor with the ramp down.
I could transport a Duece and a Half Truck with the ramp closed.
This vessel can go lateral. It is a flat bottomed boat.
Ironically, I was in Danang for repairs ans the Navy Divers had a barge that had no propulsion and required towing to different locations.
They asked me to relocate it from the existing location to a different one.
I gladly obliged.
Tied my boat to the barge and it was "Waltzing with Matilda."
A dream boat
