We are lucky enough to have a mine relatively close which still has some unlined chambers which we are going to line for future trips, surveying etc.

I'm interested to understand whether in similar circumstances, laying line you go back and tidy it up after a rough recce, lay a spool or technical line first then replace it with braided, take time to get it right first time etc.
