Are these like tires where they degrade over the years (even in storage)? How old are these batches?

These were purchased in 2013. They have been stored in sealed containers and show no signs of wear. Each individual set was inspected before posting to make sure they were all in new condition. I kept a few sets for myself and changed all seals on a suit of mine. I've had no issues with them.
