I found a Sig Sauer P228 this weekend. It was in about 30 feet of water underneath a cliff and overlook that is an ideal spot to dump your stolen weapons.

And sure enough, an NCIC check indicated it had been stolen so it is on it's way to the ATF folks for forensic examination.

Wow good find, doesn't look like it's been down there that long. You'ld think that whoever needed to get rid the gun would dispose of it a in place that wasn't a dive location.
