Thinking of taking a trip after christmas / before new years for some diving with my 12 yr old. I know this is high season. Wondering if anyone is aware of any deals. Thinking of cozumel or playa area but open to other places. We're traveling from central CONUS. Cozumel / Playa have been favorites before because of ease of travel (can reach them quickly by air - 5hrs).
 
I'm actually looking at doing the same thing by myself, but immediately before Christmas (for my birthday). I was also looking at Cozumel. I've never been there and it doesn't seem expensive. I'll be watching this thread, so hopefully someone responds with deals.
