Late 1960's-early 1970s 80 cube Steel Dive tank-Still in Hydro and VIP

Ive had this tank for about 20 years now. It passed Hydro in 2015 and Visual last year. Manufacturer stamps in neck of tank are 08-1964 and first hydro stamp after the manufacture date is 1973.

The burst disk has started a slow leak so the valve needs a rebuild.

Id like to sell the tank. Any advice on the approximate value?

Burst disk can be replaced relatively cheaply if its the standard type.

1964 2250 Norris 72 cu ft - $50 (at best - "Northern" prices..) if in hydro with a couple years left, new vis, and if valve is "healthy"....

P.S. - value drops because it is missing + rating... hydro is also almost expired...

I agree with the above information.

One more thing, that is a Sportsways valve with a 1/2" straight pipe thread neck (with O-ring seal). The valve is a fine valve and finding a replacement burst disk should not be a huge problem.

The 1/2" straight neck is relatively rare and if the valve would need to be replace in the future, it could only be replaced with a vintage Sportways valve. There were a few Healthways valves made for this type of neck, but they are even harder to find.

Finding a hydro station that has the proper fitting is not hard since some fire-fighting SCBA units use the same neck size, but finding a replacement SCUBA valve (if it is ever needed) is a different story.
